Abstract

The metering and agitating device for sandy material having a tendency to compact e.g. in a compressed air sand blasting machine, includes an agitator (1) having a thin profile for assuring necessary agitation for eliminating compaction of the aggregate. The device also includes a metallic washer forming two fins (2) that serve to meter the aggregate. The rotating pneumatically driven axle of the metering device and the agitator are fixed to an axis (3).
