Abstract

400,664. Endless-belt conveyers. CORRIE & CO., Ltd., J. B., 15, Victoria Street, London.-(Baillot et Cie, A. ; St. Ouen, Paris.) April 30, 1932, No. 1825/33. Divided on 400,617. [Class 78 (i).] Coal dust, facing or backing sand, or other granular or powdered materials are fed from a number of containers 17, 18 having bottom openings controlled by a single conveyor 22 which conveys the materials to a shoot 42. The rear and side walls of the containers are edged with rubber strip 60 and the size of the opening at the front wall is regulated by slides 50, 51, also rubberedged, which are adjusted by screwed bars 53 and hand nuts 54, the amount of the opening being indicated by a pointer 57. The belt is provided with a scraper 37, supporting rollers 32, and tightening screw s. The materials may be fed to a hopper operated as described in Specification 400,617.
