Abstract
227,418. Soc. Anon. des Anciens Etablissements E. Zublin et Cie. Jan. 10, 1924, [Convention date]. Storage bins.-The bottom of a storage bin is formed by an endless band, chain, &c. conveyer d which when actuated discharges the contents. The conveyer may be mounted on a carriage q, Fig. 6, in order that it may be moved from bin to bin. The conveyer, Fig. 7, is attached to the bin by threaded spindles x and nuts to permit of vertical adjustment. A hinged flap f, Fig. 1, is suspended in front of the outlet b, and a counterweighted baffle g is pivoted on the axle of a convever drum. The band &c. has raised edges which pass outside the lower edges of the walls c of the bin. The discharge aperture may be divided by inclined plates p, p<1>, Fig. 5, which direct the material on to conveyers d<1> - - d<111> actuated separately or together. The bin, Fig. 6, has a cut-off slide r actuated by racks s and pinion t, and a pivoted flap v is provided to direct the material on to the conveyer.
