Abstract

1,150,370. Distributing a layer of powder; endless conveyers. DURIA-WERK KARL KEMPF G.m.b.H. 20 Dec., 1967, No. 57922/67. Headings B8A and B8S. [Also in Divisions C1 and C7] Metallic powder 2 in hopper 3 is discharged through aperture 6 by rotating roller 5, the aperture being adjustable by wall 4, and the powder is assisted to fall by stationary wire 7 which acts as a sill over which the material falls on to a vibrating conveyer 8 and thence on to the supports 9 of endless conveyer 10. Fig. 2.-Material 2 in hopper 3 is discharged by endless conveyer 13 which is provided at 15 with a stationary sill over which the material falls on to the supports 9 of endless conveyer 10.
