Abstract
431,657. Fuel injectors. REYNOLDS, P. J., 3269, West 24th Avenue, Vancouver, Canada. March 3, 1934, No. 6831. [Class 7 (iii)] The pressure of the fuel admitted through a passage a lifts the valve spindle d to uncover a groove c and admit air at a lower pressure than the fuel through the injection orifice, to minimize dribble of the fuel. The air is admitted through a passage b and passes through a groove e and passages f to the groove c, and it may be obtained from the engine cylinder during the compression stroke.
