[Class 80 (ii)] [See also Group XXIX] A reversing-gear comprises interengaging planet wheels carried by a drum 34 ; a disc 44 may be turned so that inclines act through rollers or balls 48 to move the drum axially to engage it frictionally with a fixed member for reverse drive, or the disc may be positioned so that springs 42<a> move the drum to clutch it to a disc 40 on the driven shaft for forward drive.
