Sept. 30, 1933, No. 8929/35. Divided out of 426,557. [Class 106 (ii)] In a micrometer screw gauge a screw rod 7 rotatable in a fixed nut 6 by a thimble 13 is urged by a torsion spring 18 into contact with an anvi 5. The distance between the end of roc 7 and the anvil 5 is indicated bya pointer 10 moving over a dial 9. One revolution of the rod 7 moves it axially to its maximum extent. Specification 426,557 is referred to.
