Abstract

401,296. Thermionic valves. WARREN, S. F., 27, Lowick Road, Harrow, Middlesex. May 2, 1932, No. 26876/33. Divided on 401,305. [Class 39 (i).] A valve has a cathode 2 surrounded by a control grid 3, a screen grid 5, a suppressor grid 13, an anode 4 and an external screening electrode 6 which is connected with the suppressor grid 13. The electrode 6 is of grid form and connected with a point of low potential such as the cathode, or with the control grid, or earthed. The suppressor grid 13 has a wide mesh. An annular metal screen 12, connecting the electrodes 6, 13 is provided at one or both ends. Specification 401,305 is referred to.
