Abstract

582,164. Electron beam valves. M-O VALVE CO., Ltd., JAMES, E. G., and WARREN, G. W. July 17, 1940, No. 11806. [Class 39 (i)] In a push-pull valve having a single cathode 1 used with two anodes 4, 4<1> the electron flow to which is controlled by grids 2, 2<1> and accelerator electrodes 3, 31, the electrons are concentrated into beams so that small anodes may be used by the grid supports 6, 61 at cathode or negative potential. A screen 5 surrounds the valve. Dimensions of such a valve are given. Specification 500,361 is referred to.
