[Class 29.] The glass vacuumjacketed vessel a is formed with a shoulder c on its lower portion resting on an abutment h on the inside of the lower part of the outer protective casing f and with a shoulder e at the upper part of its neck portion to engage beneath an abutment or turned-in flange q of the upper part k of the casing. Rubber rings r, s are inserted between the shoulders and abutments and the container is rigidly mounted without other supports by screwing the upper casing part into the lower. The abutment h is formed by inserting an open-ended metal sleeve g into the lower end of the outer casing, when the casing is of metal, and by thickening the lower part when a casing of moulded material is used.
