Modified for pouring.-A pouring 'lip or spout 10 is formed integrally with the glass walls of a glass vacuum - jacketed vessel, and the neck 4, 4a tapers or curves gradually to the mouth so as to avoid an internal shoulder, to facilitate cleaning. The casing 5 has a relatively short tapering neck portion 5<b> engaging a rubber, cork or other resilient ring 9 on the sloping part of the flask neck, whereby a fluid-tight joint is formed. The vessel is resiliently supported in the casing by a rubber &c. base pad 8 pressed upwards by a coiled spring 7, and by a rubber &c. ring 11 around the body part. A drinking-cup or cap 5<a> is secured by a bayonetjoint fastening to the neck part of the casing.
