[Class 116] An inverted bottle 2 is connected with an apparatus 3 for delivering quantities of liquid from the bottle by a rubber washer 7 which has an external flange 6a engaged within an annular groove in the apparatus 3, and an internal rib 8 which maintains a fluid-tight joint against the neck of the bottle, the rib enabling bottle necks of varying sizes to be inserted. The washer is formed with a tapered skirt 10 which seats on a tapered inner wall of the apparatus 3 and with which the bottle-mouth may make fluid-tight contact. The apparatus 3 forms the subject of Specification 455,266.
