443,035. Sprinkling - stoppers for bottles. HYGIENIC BOTTLES, Ltd., 38, Bailey Lane, Coventry, and ASHWORTH, D., 21, Saville Road, Blackpool. Sept. 6, 1934, No. 25620. [Class 125 (iii)] A screw-cap stopper a for a bottle in which the bottleneck has a plain cylindrical part c closely fitting a cylindrical recess in the cap, has holes g which can be brought into register with notches e for pouring purposes. When the holes are in register there is sufficient of the plain cylindrical portions in contact to prevent leakage through the threaded parts of the stopper. A plug h is provided inside the stopper and is of such a length that it does not leave the bottle mouth when the holes g and the notches e are in register. Shoulders f may be provided in the neck of the bottle to engage the plug h when it is screwed down. A washer may be provided in the shoulder d. Specification 385,123 is referred to.
