507,062. Closure caps for glass bottles &c. ASPREY & CO., Ltd., and HOLMES, E. G. Dec. 6, 1937, Nos. 33736/37 and 16349/39. [Class 125(iii)] A glass bottle or like liquid container A has a stopper or closure cap G, the bottle being provided with a screwthread for engagement with an internal thread on the cap G which has an internal metal plug or nose-piece N engaging with a metal seating D, the plug or the metal seating or both being provided with a tapered contact surface. The seating D is formed by the inside of a collar C screwed at F to engage the threads E on the cap G and the plug N is pointed at K to prevent drops of liquid forming thereon.
