Abstract

The Cap 1 is a packaging system for resealing of adhesive products that utilise the active chemical ingredient, Cyanoacrylate. Comprising of two separate parts; an injection moulded cap 1 and a built-in steel pin 2, the Cap provides the user with a component for effective resealing. The steel pin restricts accretion within the dispensing nozzle and prevents evaporation, maintaining both product and packaging in an optimum condition throughout its lifespan. A screw thread fixing may be used to secure the cap to the container 4.

Description

241 935 1 Ultraloc Ply Cap The imenffon relates to a packaging system for
resealing adhesive (Cyanoacrylste) products.
Such adhesive packaging systems are commonplace, but frequently suffer from the disadvantage of product accretion (Due to chemical stability of Cyanoacrylate) that accrues in the dispensing component of the packing during usage and continual storage, which renders the component useless or severely restricts the product flow and overall usage.
The object of this invention is to create an effecffve resealing system, for the pacling of adhesive products that contain the chemical Cyanoacrylate. The invention will effecffvely store the product preventing product accretion, thereby lengthenir the lifespan of the product.
Accordingly, this invention is to provide a ro sealable barrier against evaporation and product accretion, continually facilitating the effective dispersing of the product. The Uitraioc Pin Cap comprises of two pare;; an injection rnouided cap and a bulit-in steel pin.
The Uitraioc Pin Cap would be preferably made from plastics material(s), but it may instead be made from metal material(s), or a combination of these materials.
A preferred embodiment of She invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawing in which: FIGURE 1: Shows a cross section view of the Uitraioc Pin Cap and dispensing device.
Figure 1 shows how the injection mouided cap (1), with bulk in steel pin (2), locates within the dispensing component or nozzle (3) restricting product accretion or deposit build up after use and through periods of continued storage. The steel pin also restricts the flow of the product contained within, acting as a stopper. The cap is maintained in position through a screw thread fixing that keeps She cap securely at-ached to She main body of the packaging (4).

Claims (7)

  1. Clalms 1. A packaging system for resealing adhesive (Cyanoacrylate)
    products.
  2. 2. A packaging system for resealing adhesive (Cyanoacrylate) products as claimed in Claim 1 where the cap, lid or cover has a built-in stopper.
  3. 3. A packaging system for resealing adhesive (Cyaneacrylate) products as claimed in Claim 1 or Claim 2 where the bulit-in stopper boates itself within the dispensing component (nozzle or pouring aperture) of the product when fully sealed.
  4. 4. A packagir system Or resealing adhesive (Cyanoacrylate) products as claimed in Claim 3 where the bunt in supper acts as a barrier against evaporation and product accretion (deposit build up) within the dispensing component (nozzle or pouting aperture) of the product.
  5. 5. A packaging system as claimed in any proceeding claim where the flap is secured to the top of the pack during use.
  6. 6. A packaging system as claimed in any proceeding claim that is made from plastics matefial(a), or metal material(a), or a combination of these materials.
  7. 7. A packaging system as herein described and Illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
