Abstract

494,991. Bottles &c. KIRMES, E. Oct. 25, 1937, No. 29069. [Class 125 (i)] A bottle closure and applicator comprises a rubber &c. stopper 1 provided with a centre bore 4 to hold a wick 3 dipping in the liquid and a flange 5 adapted to be pressed against the edge of the bottle neck by an internal shoulder 7 on the screw cap 2. For more viscous liquids, a glass tube 10, Fig. 2, with a short tubular tape 11 is fitted in the bore of the stopper 1, the lower end 12 of which may be enlarged to prevent it slipping out of the bottle neck. The interior of the bottle cap is a close fit against the end 9 of the stopper.
