Abstract

833,270. Container closures. BRITISH XYLONITE CO. Ltd. Sept. 30, 1958 [Oct. 17, 1957], No. 32465/57. Class 125(3). A dispensing closure for a squeezable container includes a plug 3 with disc part 4 and skirt 5 which fits within the container neck and has a barbed rib 6 engaging a groove 7 in the neck, and a cap 13 which is connected by an integrally moulded strap 14 to the plug and engages a barbed rib 16 on the projection 10 of the plug. A capillary tube may be gripped by ribs 12 and the contents expelled as a mist through orifice 11 by squeezing the container.
