Abstract

1,074,057. Compartmented containers. L' OREAL. Oct. 19, 1965 [Oct. 19, 1964], No- 44304/65. Heading B8D. A bottle of plastics material with an externally screw-threaded neck has a hollow stopper (1), Fig. 1, the lower part of which enters the neck and is closed by a removable base in the form of a plug (2). The stopper 1 is secured to the bottle by means of an internally screwthreaded skirt. Separate materials contained in the stopper and bottle may be mixed by unscrewing the stopper, thereby causing a flange (6), Fig. 2, on the plug (2) to be engaged by the inner end of the neck, the plug being forced downwards into the bottle as unscrewing of the stopper is continued. Both the plug and stopper are of plastics material, the plug at least being resilient.
