Abstract

1,142,293. Portable containers. MODERN LAB, Inc. 8 Feb., 1966 [9 Feb., 1965], No. 5426/66. Heading B8D. [Also in Division F1] A dispensing device in which ingredients of a mix are separately stored until use is desired, comprises an outer container 10 having a valve mechanism 26 the lower portion of which carries a cap 44 on to which is screwed an inner container 36 which is of rectangular cross-section, and means are provided on the outer container 10 to prevent or limit rotation of the container 36 so that when the valve stem 26 is rotated the cap 44 is removed from the container 36 which falls into the container 10 so that the contents may be mixed. The container 10 may be pressurized by a propellant or may be flexible so that the contents are expelled by squeezing the container. The inner container 36 may be of glass or plastics.
