Abstract

1,244,404. Pressurized dispensing container. BEECHAM Inc. Jan.15, 1970 [Feb.18, 1969] , No. 8800/69. Heading F1R. A pressurized dispensing container 1 has an inner compartment 3, an outer compartment 2, and a tiltable valve stem 6 held by a flexible seal 7. A flange 8 covers the inner end of the item 6 and forms the top of the inner compartment 3. The seal 7 also closes ports 10 and 11 until the stem 6 is tilted, Fig. 2 (not shown), in the direction of a slot 14 in the cap 13 which restricts tilting of the stem 6 to the plane of the drawing. The stem 6 may be provided with baffles (15), Fig. 5 (not shown), to help mixing of the substances held in the compartments 2, 3, when they are dispensed.
