Abstract

806,429. Crown corks. TOURRE ET CIE, VVE. May 15, 1957 [June 25, 1956], No. 15437/57. Class 125(3). A crown cork with a metal cap 1 and a packing 4 of plastic with a projecting central part 5 to engage in the bottle mouth 3 has the two parts connected together by the engagement of a stud 7 on the packing with an aperture 6 in the cap. In a modification, Fig. 2, the packing 10 has a re-entrant part 13 and a bead 16 engages with the rim 18 of an aperture in the cap.
