Abstract

808,600. Bottle stoppers. ARMSTRONG CORK CO. March 19, 1957 [April 2, 1956], No. 8957/57. Class 125(3). A stopper 6 of an elastomeric plastic for champagne bottles, &c. has a hollow shank 7, a cover portion 8 and a skirt portion 9 with flutes 10 and a ring 11 which is positioned below the bead 4 on the bottle neck, the stopper being secured by a wire tie 13 having four extensions 14 engaged by a wire 15 received beneath an annular projection 5 on the neck.
