Abstract

797,771. Bottle caps. KORK-N-SEAL, Ltd. Dec. 10, 1956 [Dec. 16, 1955; Nov. 9, 1956], Nos. 36136/55 and 34314/56. Class 125(3). A bottle &c. closure comprises a bung 10 with a sleeve 15 to fit the bottle mouth and a cap 11 with a hole 9 into which the head of the bung fits and is held by flanges 14, 16 so as to be rotatable relative to the cap. In a modification a knob on the bung retains it in the cap and in a further modification, Fig. 3, a closure disc 23 has a necked portion 27 passing through an opening in the end wall 29 of a cap 24 and a flange 25 retains it in rotatable engagement with the cap.
