667,081. Pouring spouts of liquidcontainers. REYNOLDS, J. Jan. 9, 1950 [Jan. 24, 1949; April 21, 1949], Nos. 1908/49 and 10668/49. Classes 66 and 125(iii) A tubular spout 9 for a bottle &c. is curved at 11 and telescopes into, e.g. a recessed stopper 5 flanged at 4 and double-skirted at 7, 8. A spiral spring 14 bears against projections 12, 15 and moves the spout 9 outwardly, until its flared end 10 bears against the stopper, on removal of a screw-cap covering the stopper. The projection 12 may be an air-inlet and there may be a second air-inlet 13. The stopper may be' of cork or polythene &c. and the spout 9 of glass &c. In a modification, the spring bears against a rib round the outer part of the stem of the spout.
