[Class 29.] A screw-thread f is formed on the outer wall a below the shoulder e of a glass vacuum-jacketed flask, and engages a screwed ring g inserted in the upper end of the outer casing b, whereby the flask is held in the casing with its lower end and evacuating nipple clear of the bottom of the casing. The ring g is secured by beading its upper rim k over the rim of the casing. The flask has the. usual screwed neck d to receive the drinking cup.
