Abstract

337,488. Wilhelm, T. Aug. 9, 1929. Cold and heat retaining vessels.-A vacuum-jacketed vessel 28 is provided with a separate sharp-edged pouring ring 23, of metal, glass, porcelain &c., which projects above and forms a fluid-tight joint with the conical portion 26 of the screwed-on shoulder member 27 of the casing 1. A cap 5, 6 fitted over the bottom of the vessel is engaged by a spring 3 which forces the neck of the vessel against the casing neck. The pouring ring may be cemented to the vessel or be held in position by the spring pressure.
