435,847. Lever-lid cans. BENNETT, H. J., 6, Melgund Road, Highbury, London. May 9, 1934, No. 16350/35. Divided out of 435,802. [Classes 66 and 125 (iii)] A can of the full or wide aperture type is formed with a preferably rounded inward bead 5 which comes into contact or nearly into contact with the depending part 3 of the seamed-on mouth ring 1. The part 3 may be of cylindrical form as shown in Fig. 1 or outwardly flared as at 6, Fig. 2, and preferably terminates at or above the level of the centre of the bead. Specifications 435,802 and 435,841 are referred to.
