364,748. Closing caps for barrels &c. WILKINSON, P., 73, Leadenhall Street, London. Nov. 10, 1930, No. 33832. [Classes 18, 21, and 125 (iii).] A closing cap for tanks, barrels, boxes, &c. of the kind in which a rim H is swaged out to grip beneath the rim of the opening is provided with a down-turned outer edge B to receive a rubber &c. ring C which, when the swaging is effected, becomes compressed to make a tight joint. The centre of the cap may be plain or recessed, the wall of the recess being plain or threaded as shown. Opening is effected by cutting round the rim H or round the lower rim of the recess.
