729,252. Vacuum-jacketed vessels. ISOVAC, Ltd. Sept. 2, 1953 [Jan. 19, 1953], No. 1468/53. Class 64 (2). A vacuum-insulated container such as a flask, jug or jar with a canister 1 into or onto which is screwed a closing member 2, has a pouring and sealing ring, Fig. 4, of pliable material such as rubber, compressed by the engagement of the member 2 on a bead 9 on the ring, an internallycurved portion 12 of the ring engaging on the neck 5 of the vacuum-jacketed vessel 3 and its lower edge on a shoulder of that vessel.
