A one-piece plastic pouring attachment for preserving jars and like vessels comprises a cap 2, closing and gripping the mouth of the jar and formed with a spout 5, a handle 7, and an extension 8 receiving the base of the jar. The cap has an annular projection 3 to clip into thread grooves encircling the jar and a filter 6 is provided.
