[Class 23.] The steam and water mixture from a tubulous steam boiler flows through a separator 65 in which the mixture passes downwardly through a helical passage 66 surrounded by a partition forming an annular space 68, into which the water is forced by centrifugal action through apertures 69 in the partition and is guided to the bottom of the separator. Steam is lead off through a central pipe 126.
