533,809. Centrifugal separators. SUPERHEATER CO., Ltd. (Superheater Co.). Nov. 28, 1939, No. 30975. [Class 23] [Also in Group XIII] Each of the water discharge nozzles 8 of a separator 6, Fig. 1, is formed with an annular chamber 9, Fig. 3, to which feedwater is supplied from the feed pipe through a tube 12 and from which the feedwater is discharged in converging jets or an annular sheet B to create a region of low pressure in front of the nozzle. The nozzle may be of a Venturi tube form as described in Specification 505,771.
