Abstract

389,443. Discharge lamps. LEDERER, A., Hermesvilla, Vienna. June 8, 1931, No. 16689. Convention date, June 19, 1930. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 39 (i).] A lamp having one or more indirectly heated electrodes has the heating wire of one electrode connected in series with the other electrode or with its heating wire. Tubular electrodes 5, which are coated with electron-emitting material, are closed by insulating stoppers 6, 7 through which pass heaters 8. The electrodes are connected to and supported by wires 1 through clips 4, and the lower stoppers are secured by wire members 10. The heaters are connected together by a cross-piece 9 and to the wires 1 so that they are in parallel with the discharge.
