Abstract

253,536. British Thomson-Houston Co., Ltd., (Assignees of Cartun, P. 0.). June 9, 1925, [Convention date]. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. Filaments. - To the end of a short insulating pillar 17 in an electric lamp bulb are attached a number of straight supporting wires arranged in two planes. In the form shown two wires 19, 20 are in a plane with the longitudinal axis of the bulb and a third wire 21 is perpendicular to the plane of the wires 19, 20. The filament 23, which is of the closely coiled type, is draped through loops in the ends of the wires 19, 20, 21, as shown.
