Abstract

260,130. Berry, H. H. Dec. 23, 1925. Wire resistances, cored.-Heating elements of the type in which two wires are mounted in helical grooves in an insulating support, each wire extending the full length of the support and the two wires being so connected that they can be used together or separately, are applied to heaters in which cylindrical heating elements extend across the front of a reflector. The support a is formed with notched ribs c on which are wound the wires 1, 2 connected to caps 3, 4, 5 on the ends of the support. The caps fit into spring clips or like holders arranged to make contacts suitable for the supply as described.
