Abstract
295,765. Garde, H. May 23, 1927. Holders.-The resilient contacts are formed as zigzag or sinuous strips 1 of metal constituting springs. The free end 14 of each spring may be bent up to lie along the side of the spring. The inner end 2 of each spring may be clamped by a screw 7, Fig. 1, between the block 3 and the corresponding terminal 4, or it may be forced into a recess, in the terminal, or it may be clamped together with the bared end of a supply wire 9, Fig. 5, between the block 3 and a plate 13. A part of the spring at the inner end may be of larger section than at the outer end, the aperture in the block 3 being correspondingly shaped.
