Abstract

296,315. Hartman, H. Aug. 26, 1927, [Convention date]. Bulbs; leading-in wires.-A tubular lamp comprises an outer tube 1 of any desired configuration containing a series of tubular bulbs or units 2 having their caps 3 in contact with each other and with end caps 4 of the outer tube. Conducting springs may be placed between the end units 2 and the caps 4. The bulbs may be coloured or diffusing or both. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also the following :-The conducting springs may be placed between two of the bulbs 2, and to enable the filaments to reach nearly to the ends of the tubes, the leading-in conductors are bent backwards as shown in Fig. 5 (cancelled). This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
