Abstract
A zinc alloy particularly for die-casting is free from magnesium and contains 2-10 per cent of aluminium and 0,05-2 per cent of copper, the remainder being zinc of at least 99,98 per cent purity, preferably at least 99,99 per cent. The maximum impurities in the zinc are preferably 0,001 per cent of tin, and 0,01 per cent of lead and cadmium together. Specifications 252,020, [Class 82 (i), Metals, Extracting &c.], 340,104, and 378,645 are referred to.
