Abstract
A zinc alloy, particularly for die-casting, contains 2-10 per cent of aluminium, 0,01-0,3 per cent of magnesium, and 0,05-2 per cent of copper. The zinc is preferably of at least 99,99 per cent purity, the lead and cadmium being preferably not more than 0,003 per cent each and the tin not more than 0,001 per cent. Specification 340,104 is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 252,020, [Class 82 (i), Metals, Extracting &c.].
