Abstract
550,738. Alloys. MILLS Ltd., W., and PAIGE, J. F. Oct. 17, 1941, No. 13401. [Class 82 (i)] An aluminium base alloy contains 1.0-6.0 per cent. of copper, 0.5-3.0 of nickel, 0.05-5.0 of magnesuim and more than 6 but not more than 10 of cadmium. The alloy may contain up to 1.5 of iron and/or up to 14.0 of silicon. According to the Provisional Specification, the lower limit of the cadmium content is 0.1 per cent.
