522,513. Alloys ; annealing. MALLORY METALLURGICAL PRODUCTS, Ltd., (Mallory & Co., Inc. P. R.). Nov. 28, 1938, No. 9018/40. Divided out of 522,482. [Classes 72 and 82 (i)] Copper alloys, particularly for electrical purposes and for parts of internal combustion engines, contain 0.05-3 per cent. of magnesium and 0À1-3 per cent. of chromium and are hardened by quenching and ageing with or without cold working. The alloys may also contain small amounts of silver, zinc, cadmium, tin zirconium, calcium, lithium, titanium, and mangenese. The alloys may be quenched from over 700‹C., preferably 800-1000‹C., and aged at less than 700‹C., preferably 400-600‹C. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 512,142.
