Abstract
In the description of a process of preparing selenic acid electrolytically from seleneous acid (see Group XXXVI), reference is made to the following alloys: aluminium alloy type AC-2S, comprising 0.2 per cent copper, a maximum of 1 per cent iron and silicon, 0.1 per cent manganese, 0.1 per cent zinc, 0.15 per cent impurities and the remainder aluminium; aluminium alloy AC-57S, comprising 0.1 per cent copper, a maximum of 0.45 per cent iron and silicon, 0.1 per cent manganese, 0.1 per cent zinc, 2.2 to 2.8 per cent magnesium, 0.15 to 0.35 per cent chromium, 0.15 per cent impurities and the remainder aluminium; magnesium alloy FS-1A, comprising 3 per cent aluminium, 0.3 per cent manganese, 1 per cent, zinc, and the remainder magnesium.
