Abstract

A zinc alloy contains 2-5 per cent of copper, 3-6 per cent of aluminium, and 0,03-0,5 per cent of manganese, and is free from magnesium. The manganese may be added to the zinc in the form of an alloy with copper or aluminium or both. Lead and cadmium should not exceed 0,025 per cent and 0,01 per cent respectively.
