Abstract
An alloy for use in the production of pressed and/or rolled articles, comprises 10-15 per cent of aluminium, 1,5-4 per cent of copper and 0,01-0,04 per cent of magnesium, the remainder being zinc of at least 99,98 per cent purity. British Specification 378,645 and U.S.A. Specifications 1,540,006 and 1,945,288 are referred to. Zinc alloys containing (a) 5 per cent of aluminium and 0,8-2,5 per cent of copper, and (b) 3-5 per cent of aluminium and a small amount of magnesium are also referred to.
