372,520. Steam turbines. ALL - MANNA SVENSKA ELEKTRISKA AKTIEBOLAGET, Vasteras, Sweden. April 14, 1931, No. 11063. Convention date, April 22, 1930. [Class 110 (iii).] In a steam turbine having combined radial flow and axial flow stages, the steam leaving the radial flow stage is divided to flow through two or more sets of axial stages on each side of the line of symmetry. One casing contains all the stages. A bearing 9 may be inserted between the two axial flow stages 11, 13, and a further bearing 8 provided for the generator shaft 7 outside the coupling 6. In an alternative arrangement bearings are arranged on each side of the coupling.
