439,848. Steam turbines. FAIRWEATHER, H. C. G., 65, Chancery Lane, London.-(Allmõnna Svenska Elektriska Aktiebolaget, Vasteras, Sweden) June 29, 1935, No. 18698. [Class 110 (iii)] In an extraction turbine of the radial-flow double-rotation type, the rotor disc on one side is formed of two parts 3, 10 so as to leave an uninterrupted annular pass-out gap 9. The parts are connected by a disc 13 which extends between the outer ends of the blade rings 11, 12. Interstage regulation is effected by an axially movable cylindrical member 19 in the pass-out space. Extraction and overload passages may be provided in other regions in known manner.
