Abstract

Oppositely running rotor type; combined flow type; condensation water, collecting and draining.-The outer row 11 of two rows of axial flow bladings is carried by a disc 10 having a flange 10' secured between the rings 2, 3 of the oppositely running radial sections. The flange 10<1> is secured to the ring 2 by conical bolts similar to those shown at 5 and is connected with the outer rings 3 by cylindrical pins 6 held in place by screwed stoppers 34 Condensation water is trapped in and drained from annular chambers 18, 19. In an alternative form the disc 10 is secured to the ring 3 only by intermeshing annular ridges and bolts. Additional discs can be added and secured to one another in a similar manner.
