Casings.-In a radial outward-flow turbine having oppositely - running rotors 4, 5 and an inner stationary casing 16, 18, the inner casing is connected to the outer casing 20 by obliquely arranged pins or bolts 19, 22 in order to prevent deformation due to temperature changes. The pins may enter holes in the casing 20, or holes in members 21, 23 secured to the casing. They are preferably arranged so that their axes intersect at the centre 27 of the turbine.
