[Class 110 (iii).] In a turbo-generator set in which the electric rotor 2 is mounted on a shaft 15 between main bearings 9, 10, and the driving turbines 5, 6 are overhung on the ends of the shaft, an additional bearing 11 is provided so that the critical speed of the generator need not be run through in starting up. The exciter 12, oil pump 13, and coupling 14 are arranged between the bearings 9, 11.
