Abstract
743,216. Driving arrangements for dynamoelectric machines. FISCHER, A. April 30, 1953 [April 30, 1952], No. 12027/53. Class 35. [Also in Group XXVI] A hydraulic machine is capable of operation either as a turbine or a pump and comprises two rotors 1, 2 either of which may be locked so as to function merely as a guide device. The two elements of an electrical machine are disposed around the hydraulic rotors. In Fig. 9 the element 6<SP>11</SP> is secured to the rim 7<SP>1</SP> and the element 6<SP>111</SP> to the rim 7. In Fig. 10, the element 6<SP>11</SP> is secured to a stationary part of the machine and the element 6<SP>1l</SP> is locked to the rim 7 or 7<SP>1</SP> of the operative rotor by means of eccentric rollers 14<SP>1</SP> or 14. Other methods of connecting the hydraulic rotors to the rotating element of the electrical machine are described (see Group XXVI).
